Wojciech Mazur, MD, FACC

Dr. Mazur is a second-generation cardiologist. He earned his medical degree in Poland before he came to the United States, where he completed a residency and fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Since 2003, he’s been associated with Ohio Heart & Vascular Center, specializing in cardiac imaging and clinical cardiology. He is one of a few cardiologists in the Tristate area who has achieved level III training in cardiac magnetic resonance imaging and cardiac computed tomography.

He serves as Medical Director of Advanced Cardiac Imaging at The Christ Hospital as well as Associate Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Cincinnati and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. He has published over 50 research articles in peer reviewed journals. Dr. Mazur believes that the scientific aspect of medicine is vital, but in combination with a compassion for humanity.

He strongly believes in a "holistic" approach to cardiology and very often tries lifestyle changes before prescribing another medication.
